Are you happy? In the moment? In your life? What does it even mean to be happy? How does one go about becoming happy? Is there a practical methodology to be gleaned form all of the feel good ideas and heady neuroscience that fills our feeds and bookshelves?
Understanding Happiness will help you begin a journey to finding your own answers to these questions and shaping those answers into a personal practice of happiness. This workshop will begin with an exploration of the cultural, academic, and global ideas of happiness, joy, and fulfillment, and how they fit together with a full and rich life. The bulk of the time will be spent putting these ideas into action with a hands-on set of activities designed to help you take a structured approach to pursuing happiness in your life. You will not have all the answers by the end of this session, but you will have some new tools and ideas to take into your life and begin your own experiments with happiness.
